TERRY VENTRESCA – Chief Engineer

Being named as Super Kart Illustrated’s (formerly Shifter Kart Illustrated) Tuner of the Year in 2002 has lifted Terry Ventresca’s name into the elite within the sport. With a never say die attitude and a mind that always turns, the elder Ventresca is the brains behind the technical side of First Kart.

Working closely with the First kart designers, Terry often recommends design changes to the factory in Italy. Terry is valued for his ideas, chassis tuning, kart preparation and engine work. As one of the main Canadian engine sealers for the Rotax Max power plants, Terry is often seen at the track lending a helping hand to everyone who needs it. Terry approaches the karting community and karting work with a sense of ease and never gets worked up in tough situations. Whether it be tuning for a national level driver or preparing a motor for the club race, Terry’s work is flawless and you will see it in his craftsmanship.
