BEN CRUTTENDEN – Engineer and Product Support

After being born and raised in Kent, England, 23-year-old Ben Cruttenden re-located to North America to pursue a career in Motorsports. After working with Jay Howard’s Screaming Talent squad, Ben has joined forces with Mike Maurini at the Brownsburg, Indiana location of First Kart USA. Ben will play a vital role in the FirstKart.com race team as the former two time British Champion in the Super One series will act as a team leader, driver coach and engineer.

With loads of experience and knowledge within karting, Ben will also be a key player in the product support of First Kart. As a former driver for sixteen seasons, Ben traded his steering wheel in for a set of tools and became a national level tuner. Having tuned and worked at the Euro Max Challenge, CIK FIA European Championship and most recently Snap-on Stars of Karting series, Ben brings the necessary experience and work ethic to help bring the First Kart operation to the next level.
