First Kart was founded and took the green flag in the late 1990's by long time racing enthusiast, Tony Ventresca. With the simple goal of bringing the exciting sport of kart racing to the public in mind, First Kart evolved to what it is today. With an emphasis on winning First Kart has been known for its prep work and outstanding customer service.

Over the last seven years First Kart’s name has been associated a lot with the word winning. The early years saw the team win Regional championships while venturing out on off weekends to the traveling pro series. Seeing what was needed to win and gaining experience along the way First Kart entered 2003 ready to win. With the help of Bobby Wilson and the support of ‘02’s Shifter Kart Illustrated Tuner of the Year Terry Ventresca, First Kart took home the Stars of Karting ICC Championship, numerous race wins and several awards and accomplishments.

In late 2004, First Kart has entered a new area of racing that they have not explored in the past. Signing a Columbian National Champion for the JICA class proved to be the right move as the team has already come home with several feature wins in this category.
