2008 FIRSTKART.COM ARRIVE-AND-DRIVE ENDURANCE SEASON

“FirstKart.com will be seen at three endurance events”

Brownsburg, Indiana. – May 8, 2008 – Looking to carry the momentum from last year’s winning season, the FirstKart.com race team is pleased to announce openings in their arrive-and-drive program for the 2008 TaG endurance campaign. With three events in the up and coming months, the FirstKart.com race team is now booking arrive-and-drive positions for these events.

The first event to take place will be the Iron Eagle 200 presented by Bridgestone at USA International Raceway in Shawano, Wisconsin. With a host of activities scheduled for the event weekend including a pit crew challenge, Formula One knock out style qualifying and a Saturday night cookout, First Kart USA and the FirstKart.com race team are looking forward to the event.

The New Castle Motorsports Ironman 150 is next on the docket as drivers will battle mid-summer temperatures and a technical track layout to try and be named the Ironman. Unlike its sister event later in the year, the Ironman 150 will utilize one driver in one kart as they run for ultimate glory.

The crown jewel of endurance racing to date will take place at the end of September as the Robopong 200 event is back at New Castle. Enforcing the same rules as last year, teams of drivers will chase the large purse being offered this season.

As the defending Robopong TaG 200 champions, First Kart USA and the FirstKart.com race team are offering arrive-and drive opportunities for the endurance race action. Interested parties are asked to contact the First Kart offices. Looking to repeat as champions, FirstKart.com will be taking a limited number of drivers for all three events.

The FirstKart.com race team also has a full testing program available for all drivers looking to compete with the team in the World Karting Association Manufacturer’s Cup, Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by Indy Car Series, Rock Island Grand Prix and Superkarts! USA SuperNationals. Interested parties are asked to contact the First Kart offices to receive a proposal contract.

Drivers looking to win or make the step to the next level and compete with a professional team are asked to contact First Kart President Tony Ventresca at 519.824.4343.
